I've already delved into what is good about Garotos da Lua, however even this song stands apart from what I knew they had already done.
This song has absolutely been transforming my entire approach to music,
how could have somebody come up with this?
(for some sad reason it gets cut off half way...)

grande amor faz uso de pequenas explicações
sick ass intro slide, bro.
notice that Lani Hall & Janis Hansen's "tet tet" vocals and harmonies take the place of the acoustic used in Gilberto's original.
why use guitar strings when you have a girl's heartstrings?
another masterful arrangement.
this may/may not be the last of sergio.

O que é BOSSA/NOISA?
Raised in the dirty dirty armpits of SHELLTOWN, San Diego, CA,
by a Jewish-Swedish-Mexican gospel church organist, I could not escape the sweet aromas of Brazilian music. My dad, Carlos Ángeles, was the choir director (they were no joke) and was notorious for turning gospel songs into bossa nova and samba get-downs, in the same vein of Sérgio Mendes.

YEA, download this shit. Free gold.
And nobody ever talks about it.
Truly a colorful record, overflowing with aural wines of many flavors.
Throw some noise on that shit
